Monday, Aug. 14, 3:32 a.m.Medical Emergency: A person was transported to a hospital.

Monday, Aug. 14, 5:31 a.m.Medical Emergency: A person was transported to a hospital.

Monday, Aug. 14, 8:00 a.m.Disturbance: A disturbance was reported at the 12 block of West Highland Avenue; a report was taken.

Monday, Aug. 14, 9:54 a.m.Suspicious Activity: Suspicious activity was reported at the 83 block of Vinton Street; a report was taken.

Monday, Aug. 14, 11:21–11:29 a.m.Harassment: Two harassment complaints were filed and reports taken.

Monday, Aug. 14, 12:42 p.m.Warrant Service: Officers attempted to serve a warrant at Melrose Wakefield Hospital on the 500 block of Lebanon Street; a report was taken.

Monday, Aug. 14, 1:22 p.m.Auto Theft: An auto theft was reported in the vicinity of Derby Road; no action was required.

Monday, Aug. 14, 1:52 p.m.Found/Lost Property: A found/lost property report was filed at the 49 block of Tremont Street.

Monday, Aug. 14, 1:49 p.m.Suspicious Motor Vehicle: A suspicious motor vehicle was reported near the intersection of Goodyear Avenue and Washington Street; a report was taken.

Monday, Aug. 14, 5:41 p.m.Suspicious Motor Vehicle: A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Temple Street; officers cleared the scene.

Monday, Aug. 14, 6:04 p.m.Motor Vehicle Accident: A motor vehicle accident involving a tow occurred at the 800 block of Main Street.

Monday, Aug. 14, 8:11 p.m.Medical Emergency: A person was transported to a hospital.


Tuesday, Aug. 15, 1:24 a.m.Medical Emergency: A person was transported to a hospital.

Tuesday, Aug. 15, 5:19 a.m.Medical Emergency: A person was transported to a hospital from the Melrose Station area on Essex Street.

Tuesday, Aug. 15, 8:10 a.m.Medical Emergency: A person was transported to a hospital.

Tuesday, Aug. 15, 10:11 a.m.Medical Emergency: A person was transported to a hospital.

Tuesday, Aug. 15, 9:48 a.m.Vandalism: Vandalism was reported at the 600 block of Main Street; a report was taken.

Tuesday, Aug. 15, 11:30 a.m.Larceny/Fraud: A larceny or fraud incident was reported at the 99 block of Washington Street; officers cleared the scene.

Tuesday, Aug. 15, 11:44 a.m.Summons — Malicious Destruction of Property: A disturbance was reported at CVS Pharmacy on the 500 block of Main Street. A summons was issued charging malicious destruction of property valued over $1,200 (M.G.L. c. 266, §127). Tuesday, Aug. 15, 5:59 p.m.Hit-and-Run Accident: A hit-and-run accident was reported at the 300 block of Porter Street; a report was taken.

Tuesday, Aug. 15, 6:28 p.m.Suspicious Activity: Suspicious activity was reported at the 43 block of Waverly Place; a report was taken.

Tuesday, Aug. 15, 8:31 p.m.Unwanted Guest: An unwanted-guest complaint was handled at the 39 block of Berwick Street; officers cleared the scene.

Tuesday, Aug. 15, 9:37 p.m.Assist Citizen: Officers responded to the 3 block of Winter Place; a report was taken.


Wednesday, Aug. 16, 8:55 a.m.Motor Vehicle Accident: A motor vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Main Street and Green Street; officers cleared the scene.

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 9:09 a.m.Larceny/Fraud: A larceny or fraud incident was reported at the 99 block of Washington Street; a report was taken.

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 11:40 a.m.Larceny/Fraud: A larceny or fraud complaint was filed at the 200 block of West Wyoming Avenue; a report was taken.

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 12:02 p.m.Hold-Up Alarm (False): A hold-up alarm at TD Bank on the 400 block of Main Street was determined to be false.

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 1:51 p.m.Missing Person: A missing-person report was filed near the 100 block of Main Street; officers cleared the scene.

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 1:54 p.m.Welfare Check: A welfare check at a Melrose Housing Authority address on the 900 block of Main Street resulted in a person being transported to a hospital.

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 3:44 p.m.Larceny/Fraud: A larceny or fraud incident was reported at the 11 block of Otis Street; a report was taken.

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 5:33 p.m.Suspicious Activity: Suspicious activity was reported at the 44 block of Mount Hood Terrace; a report was taken.

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 6:04 p.m.Drug Overdose: Officers responded to a reported drug overdose; no action was required.

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 6:05 p.m.Disturbance: A disturbance was reported at a gas station on the 800 block of Main Street; officers cleared the scene.

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 8:13 p.m.Disturbance: A disturbance was reported at the 19 block of Stowecroft; a report was taken.

Wednesday, Aug. 16, 11:09 p.m.Suspicious Activity: Suspicious activity was reported in the vicinity of Trenton Street; officers could not locate.


Thursday, Aug. 17, 10:32 a.m.Threats: A threats complaint was filed at Melrose Wakefield Hospital on the 500 block of Lebanon Street; a report was taken.

Thursday, Aug. 17, 10:52 a.m.Medical Emergency: Officers responded to a medical emergency; the matter was referred to another agency.

Thursday, Aug. 17, 10:52 a.m.Commercial Alarm (False): A commercial alarm at the 400 block of Main Street was determined to be false.

Thursday, Aug. 17, 10:54 a.m.Summons — Motor Vehicle Violations: A motor vehicle stop at the intersection of Main Street and Ledgewood Avenue resulted in a summons. Charges include operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Thursday, Aug. 17, 3:56 p.m.Complaint: Officers responded to a complaint at the 500 block of Main Street; could not locate.

Thursday, Aug. 17, 5:04–5:06 p.m.Hit-and-Run Accidents: Two separate hit-and-run accidents were reported — one at Melrose Wakefield Hospital on the 500 block of Lebanon Street and one at the 22 block of Summer Street; reports were taken on both.

Thursday, Aug. 17, 5:26 p.m.Larceny/Fraud: A larceny or fraud incident was reported at the 18 block of North High Street; officers cleared the scene.

Thursday, Aug. 17, 8:12 p.m.Disturbance: A disturbance was reported at CVS Pharmacy on the 800 block of Main Street; officers cleared the scene.

Thursday, Aug. 17, 11:35 p.m.Medical Emergency: A person was transported to a hospital.


Friday, Aug. 18, 12:57 p.m.Disturbance: A disturbance was reported at the 80 block of West Wyoming Avenue; a report was taken.

Friday, Aug. 18, 2:44 p.m.Suspicious Activity: Suspicious activity was reported at the 19 block of Brazil Street; a report was taken.

Friday, Aug. 18, 4:44 p.m.Harassment: A harassment complaint was filed; a report was taken.

Friday, Aug. 18, 9:47 p.m.Commercial Alarm (False): A commercial alarm at Marathon Sports on the 400 block of Main Street was determined to be false.

Friday, Aug. 18, 9:44 p.m.Disturbance: A disturbance was reported near the intersection of West Wyoming Avenue and Pleasant Street; officers cleared the scene.


Saturday, Aug. 19, 12:51 a.m.Motor Vehicle Accident: A motor vehicle accident occurred at the 300 block of Lebanon Street; officers cleared the scene.

Saturday, Aug. 19, 9:02 a.m.Auto Theft: An auto theft was reported at the 100 block of Derby Road; a report was taken.

Saturday, Aug. 19, 10:59 a.m.Medical Emergency: A person was transported to a hospital.

Saturday, Aug. 19, 2:25–2:25 p.m.Medical Emergencies: Two persons were transported to a hospital, including one from an elderly housing facility.

Saturday, Aug. 19, 5:17 p.m.Motor Vehicle Accident: A motor vehicle accident occurred at the intersection of Franklin Street and Vinton Street; officers cleared the scene.

Saturday, Aug. 19, 7:30 p.m.Arrest: A disturbance was reported at the 3 block of Gould Street, resulting in an arrest of an adult female. (Full name, age, town of residence, and charges do not appear in the extracted log text; editor must obtain complete arrest record before publication.)


Sunday, Aug. 20, 4:16 a.m.Medical Emergency: A person was transported to a hospital.

Sunday, Aug. 20, 1:27 p.m.Found/Lost Property: A found/lost property report was filed at the 404 block of Pleasant Street.

Sunday, Aug. 20, 4:55 p.m.Wire Down: A downed wire was reported at the 20 block of Keniston Road; officers cleared the scene.

Sunday, Aug. 20, 10:40 p.m.Complaint: Officers responded to a complaint at the intersection of Otis Street and Vinton Street.
