Nine Melrose Home Sales Top $900,000 Amid Steady Deed Activity
Melrose recorded 16 property transfers between July 3 and Aug. 1, but only nine deeds disclosed a sale price. Among those, prices ranged from $600,000 (47 S High St) to $1,375,000 (63 Florence St), with a median of $940,000. The month's top sale, 63 Florence St, sold July 9 for $1,375,000. Lebanon Street saw two separate transfers. Seven of the 16 deeds -- nearly half -- were transfers into or within family trusts, none with a disclosed price, a pattern distinct from the nine open-market sales that did report figures.
