Melrose recorded 18 property deed transfers between Sept. 25 and Oct. 24, though only eight carry a sale price so far. Priced sales ranged from $226,777 for a Main Street condominium to $1,515,000 for a trust-sold property, with a median of $884,500. The month's top transaction was the $1,515,000 sale from the Mary E. Crowther Revocable Trust to Jin Xing. Nine of the 18 recorded deeds appear to be transfers within the same family, often moving property into trusts, and none of those carries a recorded price yet. With half of this period's deeds still pending price data, the market's overall tone cannot yet be fully assessed.
