Melrose Home Sales Range From $670,000 To $1.17 Million In Late Summer

Melrose recorded 18 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, but only six disclosed a sale price, ranging from $670,000 to $1,170,000 with a median of $765,000. The month's top transaction was 25 Cumner Ave., which sold for $1,170,000 to Michael Bekkenhuis and William Chleapas. Eleven of the 18 transfers moved property within the same family or individual, largely into revocable trusts, and none of those disclosed a price. With two-thirds of recorded deeds lacking price data, the raw numbers show steady recording activity but offer limited visibility into overall market pricing this period.
