Melrose home sales range from $322,000 to $1.465 million in late-summer period

Melrose recorded 20 property transfers between July 17 and Aug. 15, with disclosed sale prices ranging from $322,000 to $1,465,000 and a median of $1,085,000 among the 11 sales that listed a price. The period's top sale was 127 Larchmont Rd., which sold for $1,465,000 on July 17. Six of the 11 disclosed sales topped $1 million. Eight of the 20 total transfers moved property between an individual and their own trust or estate, none of which disclosed a price, and nine of the 20 deeds overall carried no disclosed sale amount, a common feature of deed-recording data.
